This fantastic history guide is a must have for anyone interested in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Even if you have been vacationing to Ocean Isle Beach for years, you are sure to enjoy stories you have never heard before. Check it out!
Ocean Isle, surrounded by Golf Courses
March 27th, 2010By far the greatest attribute about vacationing in Ocean Isle Beach, NC is that you never run out of things to do! This is especially true about golf. While yours truly is not the greatest golfer (an 80s or 90s are a great day) I most certainly have my favorite. Hands down that is The Pearl, just a 10 to 12 minute drive from us here at the beach. With two 18 holes courses to choose from, you can play twice.

With average temperatures forecasted to be 66.5 degrees, a full 3.5 degrees higher than previous years average, and overall rainfall a full 2 inches lower, April is shaping up to be on heck of a month to getaway to Ocean Isle Beach!

Some Attractions & Tours We Recommend!
March 23rd, 2010While visiting with us here at The Islander Inn in Ocean Isle Beach, NC there are lots of attractions to see and do, besides just the beach! One of our favorites is the Battleship USS North Carolina memorial, a 30 minutes drive into Wilmington, NC.
This attraction is perfect for kids of all ages, and provides a detailed glimpse into a prominent part of American History. While you are there, check out historic downtown Wilmington, take a horse drawn carriage tour, or take the famous after dark ghost walking tour!
