Pool Safety 101 from Ocean Isle Beach, NC’s Premier Oceanfront Hotel

Summertime is in full swing at our hotel in Ocean Isle Beach, and we’re excited to have our indoor and outdoor pools and indoor Jacuzzi open! And in order for our guests to enjoy all of our amenities, we’ve compiled a list of pool safety tips. We look forward to a fun (and safe!) summer at the Islander Inn with our guests!

Make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen repeatedly throughout the day
Wait 20 minutes after eating before swimming
Be mindful of how much alcohol you consume
Closely watch children while in the water and never leave them unattended at the pool (Remember: floaties and floatation devices are not life jackets! Children with floatation devices still require adult supervision.)
Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings

Our oceanfront hotel in Ocean Isle Beach has a spacious, casual meeting space that is over 600 square feet and can accommodate up to 50 people. Our helpful staff is delighted to assist with coordinating all of your meeting particulars, including a portable PA system for music and microphone hookup. Brunswick County, NC Golf Course’s Specials Help the Less Fortunate

Our friends at The Pearl Golf Course in Ocean Isle Beach, NC are offering Winter Specials in an effort to help local charitable organizations this holiday season. Come on out to The Pearl for a round of golf and help the less fortunate at the same time!

The Pearl is participating in the Brunswick Family Assistance Can Food Drive by offering a special $35 rate to any player that brings in three canned or non-perishable food items. (Three cans per player. Dates can only be booked 48 hours in advance.)

They are also working with the local U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program this holiday season! Help children throughout the community experience the joy of Christmas by bringing in an unwrapped toy and receive a special $35 rate. (One toy per player. Dates can only be booked 48 hours in advance.)

Please note that The Pearl Golf Course Winter Specials are only good through Christmas Day.

While I am keenly aware how hard we work and strive to provide the very best at what we do, I was still completely taken by surprise. This is a very helpful website, if you are going to be vacationing on or near Ocean Isle Beach, NC. There are sections for Ocean Isle Beach dining, golf, real estate (rentals & purchases), attractions, etc. This is one power house guide of information.

Granted, at my current level of pride & humility, for both myself and the entire staff, I might be a little euphorically buzzed with a bias, but you should check out this site if you love OIB or plan on visiting!

This fantastic history guide is a must have for anyone interested in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. With stories of shipwrecks, ghosts, and infamous pirates, I am sure you too will have trouble putting this book down.
